chronic ear pain

I don't know what's wrong with my ear, but sometimes I get this really ridiculous pain in my left ear. The symptoms seem to be consistent with an outer ear infection, also known as swimmer's ear, and it's a nagging pain if I don't touch it, and then an unbearable pain if I do touch it. At first it was happening while/after playing with a full band, but now it happens whenever I get really tired. My solution as of late has been just to go to sleep, and then it's always better when I wake up.

On average it probably happens once a week.

Prayer for this issue would be greatly appreciated.

we'll definitely be praying for you. i had that once in pharmacy school, and i almost missed an exam because of the pain. did you try taking ibuprofen? a couple of 200mg pills would really help decrease the inflammation while you get over the infection. a warm compress might help, too. and if it doesn't get better after a week, please see a doctor.

I had it once for about a week, and then since then I've been getting it when I get really tired. I haven't gotten it since school started, so... praise the Lord!
